Mae Mae is chinese for younger sister, and that’s what we call Elyse. MiniMae simply stands for little sister…just sounds more unique.
In addition to this blog, we are also maintaining a separate website for Elyse. That site can be accessed by clicking on the “My Other Website” link on the right sidebar. We maintained a similar website for Ella for the first year of her life and was able to create a keepsake CD of the website for her. To be fair, and to avoid any potential accusation of favoritism in the future, we decided to do the same for Elyse. Therefore, make sure you check out both websites for updates on Elyse, and I will try my best not to duplicate information on the two websites.
