Upside Down

Looks can be deceiving, I really don’t sleep as well as I look!  Ask mama who has yet to sleep a second time through the night since we got back from Maui almost a month and a half ago! What can I say, I love calling for her once or twice in the middle of the night.

Uncle Andrew’s Birthday

Bak Bak (Uncle Andrew) also came to visit us.  Turns out it was his birthday, and we ended up celebrating his birthday too!

Aloha From Maui

Thanks to Ella, I also got sick before the trip.  Thank goodness I had a much milder case of Hand Foot Mouth than her so I recovered relatively quickly.  This was my first big vacation that involves a longer-than-one-hour-flight.  Given her prior unpleasant Maui flight experience with Ella, mama was a bit worried.  I turned out to be a great passenger on the plane, of course the nap, snacks and the Ipod Touch all helped!  The biggest challenge of the flight was mama having to change my poopie diaper in a small plane bathroom that does not have a changing table!  I took some maneuvering but it all worked out.

I enjoyed the vacation on the most part, although it took me about three days before I was willing to walk on the sand, and that is with beach shoes on.  It got really windy by Thursday, and I cried on and off and was whiny on the beach.  Mama got so fed up that she decided to just take me back to the room for an early nap.  I enjoyed the baby pool, watching the fishes in the hotel koi pond, running around with Ella and just having fun.  The best part of the trip was being able to sleep with mama for 7 days straight, both for afternoon naps and at night!  I got so used to it that it took mama a week after we got back from the trip to get me to sleep by myself in the crib again!

Singing A Song

I love singing songs with mama before bedtime every night.  Even though this is my favorite song, I suddenly forgot the lyrics halfway through!

More Beach Practice

It was a nice sunny weekend so mama and dada decided to take us to the beach this morning.  We packed up our cooler and umbrella and had a nice day playing on the sand.  I again refused to walk so mama had to carry the whole 30 lbs of me from the parking lot out to the beach.  We all had a good time having fun in the sun!

Gymnastics Class

Mama has been taking me to a class at My Gym on Saturday mornings.  She and Dada used to take Ella to this same class and mama said I’m so much better than Ella in terms of participation.  Ella used to cry at every class and would refuse to go to the instructor for any of the instructor assisted exercises.  I on the other hand would do all of them and was totally comfortable in class with all the strangers!  It was a refreshing change for mama!
